Freelance realtor wins P1-M in Shell’s ‘Spin for Great Journeys’ raffle

MANILA: Pilipinas Shell announced the first grand winner of one million pesos in its “Spin for Great Journeys” raffle promo.

The cash prize went to Juan Ardales, a freelance real estate broker. The winner expressed his gratitude to the fuel company as his income was severely affected by the pandemic. He shared that all his prospective buyers had unfortunately withdrawn when the community quarantine started. This motivated him to join the raffle as he needs to generate an income for his wife and two kids.

The winning purchase was made at Shell C5 Heritage where Ardales is a regular customer. According to him, the cash prize will be used for the family’s daily expenses. He is also planning to open his own real estate company this year.

The raffle promo is part of Shell’s commitment to help Filipinos, especially now that the whole country is facing a crisis.

Shell Retail Marketing Head Arvin Obmerga explained that the prizes offered were based on the Filipino’s current needs. The second winner of one million pesos cash prize will be announced on February 12. Shell customers will also have a chance to win a laptop, Shell Go+ points, Shell Car Care items, and a brand-new unit of Hyundai Kona.

The Spin for Great Journeys raffle promo runs until January 31. Every single receipt purchase of at least P500 on Shell fuels, P250 on Shell lubricants, or P250 on Shell Select products will entitle a customer with one spin in the digital wheel.
