Fuel price hike set this week
Gas, diesel to go up by P0.40/L; kerosene P0.30/L
MANILA: Oil companies are set to jack up the pricing of their products at the pump this week.

Oil companies shall jack up the price of gasoline and diesel by P0.40 per liter each, and kerosene by P0.30 per liter.When will the adjustment take place?
The movements will be implemented on May 27, 2024.Based on their respective announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall raise the retail prices of gasoline and diesel products by P0.40 per liter each.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall conduct a price hike on kerosene by P0.30 per liter.
The adjustments in the prices, which other companies are expected to similarly implement, will take effect starting tomorrow (May 27).
Last week, local players cut down the price of gasoline by P0.10 per liter but added P0.25 per liter on diesel and P0.30 per liter on kerosene.
