GAC GS3 Emzoom sales in PH hits 3.5k-unit mark

MANILA: There are now at least 3,500 GAC GS3 Emzoom units being driven on Philippine roads.

In a statement, GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company) Motor Philippines shared that the GS3 Emzoom broke the aforementioned sales milestone recently — months after the same nameplate breached its 2,500-example retail performance.

Known for its aggressive styling, the Astara Philippines-led automotive distributor attributed its steadily-increasing sales performance to the “growing confidence of customers and partners in the brand.”

Receiving the 3,500th GAC GS3 Emzoom unit was Kean Fortes, a Senior Participant Coordinator.

“I chose the GAC Emzoom mainly because of its great price. On top of that, its features—inside and out—are top-notch and high-tech. Compared to other crossovers in its segment, it really stands out,” Fortes shared.

He said that aside from the product itself, the brand offered quality customer experience — from dealership interaction to after-sales support.

“I went with GAC Sumulong because it’s close to where I live. I also read reviews online and saw that GAC really offers great after-sales service and takes care of its clients. That gave me confidence,” he explained.

Propelling the GAC GS3 Emzoom is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that can dish out the following numbers:

Further, the five-seater small sport utility vehicle serves a host of driver assistive and safety technologies that include:

• Intelligent speed limit control
• Lane keep assist with lane departure warning

In August 2024, the model received a five-star safety rating from the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP).
