GAC Motor PH YoY sales grow 65% in 2024; retails more than 3k units

MANILA: GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group Company Limited) Motor Philippines has experienced a 65-percent year-on-year sales increase in 2024, which makes it “one of the fastest-growing brands” locally.

Based on its records, the Astara-led automotive distributor sold 3,207 units in the Philippines last year — a significant jump when compared to the 1,943 examples delivered to customers in 2023.

Leading the strong sales rally for the previous year were the following models:

Dealer presence

Aside from having a diverse product line, GAC Motor Philippines also attributed its performance to its growing dealer network, which currently cover 31 locations nationwide.

Further, the company vowed that it would open more facilities within the year to ensure “greater accessibility for customers across the Philippines.” This initiative will complement the company’s package of five-year/150,000-kilometer warranty and free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for the first year of ownership.
