MANILA: MG (Morris Garages) Motor Philippines has received nearly 1,000 reservations for the G50 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) since last April.

Per the SMPI-steered distributor, the pre-orders came from the four-day event as well as with its current 48-strong dealer network nationwide.
With units now arriving in the country, MG Motor Philippines has started releasing the MG G50 PHEV to buyers nationwide. The company said that the initial strong demand highlights the growing interest in new energy vehicles, particularly those that offer both practicality and versatility for everyday use.

“This turnover represents an exciting milestone for MG Motor Philippines as we begin delivering the G50 PHEV to our customers,” MG Motor Philippines President Wei Wei Zhang said.
“We are encouraged by the positive response to this model, and we remain committed to providing Filipino motorists with innovative mobility solutions that combine performance, efficiency, and everyday usability,” he added.
