Goodyear implements zero-contact policy

MANILA: The retail and service center of Goodyear Philippines, the Goodyear Autocare network of stores, has enforced a zero-contact policy to guarantee the well-being and safety of customers and associates under the general community quarantine (GCQ).

The measure, to be implemented in all stores nationwide, will reduce direct contact between customers and store associates to aid in curbing the spread of COVID-19.  

In addition to the preventive measures, other safety and health guidelines like the strengthening of personal hygiene using hand sanitizers for customers and associates, sanitization of vehicle touchpoints before delivery to customers, no physical interaction between customers and associates, and physical distancing will also be followed.

Consistent with its zero-contact policy, Goodyear customers can notify any of the Goodyear Autocare stores through Facebook account of Goodyear Philippines (https://facebook.com/goodyearphilippines) or through the local Goodyear Autocare store mobile number about appointment schedules. Once an appointment has been confirmed, customers can visit their preferred Goodyear Autocare store and bring their vehicles at the specified "zero-contact" area.

Goodyear Autocare associates need to wear personal protective gear while handling the vehicle of the customer. They also need to thoroughly sanitize the contact points of the vehicle before turning it over to the customers. After sanitization and servicing, the customer can pick up the vehicle at the zero-contact area.
