GWM PH reaches highest-ever monthly sales in July 2025

MANILA: Great Wall Motor (GWM) Philippines has posted its highest-ever monthly sales performance last month.

Without sharing exact figures, the Luxuriant-led automotive distributor noted that its retail performance in July 2025 reflected a 22-percent growth month-on-month.

In a statement, the company mentioned that the new record “reflects the growing market confidence in GWM’s robust and reliable lineup of pickups and sport utility vehicles.”

“This milestone is more than just a number. It’s a clear signal that Filipino consumers are recognizing the value and potential GWM has to offer in terms of quality, performance, and value,” GWM Philippines Brand Head and Marketing Director Daximilian Avenido was quoted as saying.

“We’re proud of what the team has accomplished, and this is only the beginning,” he added.

Further, the company claimed that it has been “steadily gaining traction” due to its competitive pricing, enticing sales promotions, and the consistent expansion of its dealership network nationwide.

Leading the marque’s roster are the following models:

• New Cannon
• Tank 300

Relatedly, the current pricing of the new GWM Cannon will remain amid the re-imposition of excise tax on pick-up trucks due to Republic Act (RA) 12214 — commonly known as Capital Markets Efficiency Promotion Act (CMEPA).

Aside from that, they are also offering attractive payment terms such as down payment deals as low as P58,000 on select trims.

“With this momentum, GWM Philippines is gearing up for an exciting second half of the year. Customers can look forward to major product reveals, nationwide roadshows, and lifestyle events, part of the brand’s commitment to strengthen its presence and engage more Filipinos,” GWM Philippines announced.
