Kia Philippines is due to introduce the EV5 this 2026.Last March 18, the Korean automaker and the Ayala-led subsidiary signed the distributor agreement extension alongside dealer principals and bank partners in Seoul, South Korea.
Per Kia Philippines, the renewal strengthens the mutual trust and incredible momentum the brand has made locally, securing a full decade of partnership—a historic first for the brand in the country.
“This partnership extension represents a long-term commitment to the Filipino drivers who have embraced the Kia brand,” ACMObility Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala was quoted as saying. “Our growth proves that Filipinos are looking for the kind of purposeful innovation that Kia provides, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going.”

To recall, ACMobility, acquired the Kia distributorship in 2018.
This year, the marque aims to become a leading automotive brand while supporting its global electrification strategy by expanding its role in the hybrid electric vehicle segment.
One of the much-awaited developments for 2026 is the formal launch of the Kia EV5.
