Kia to display electrified roster at CES 2024

MANILA: Kia will be displaying its roster of electric vehicles (EV) at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024.

Next month, attendees of the tech expo will get to see Kia’s EV lineup, which consists of the EV3, EV4, EV9, and EV6 GT.

To note, the Kia EV6 GT is available here in the Philippines.

According to the Hyundai-owned brand, the said EV models will be displayed at CES 2024 as part of the company’s launch of its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) business.

For those who are wondering, Kia PBV is “a total mobility solution combining fit-for-purpose electric vehicles with advanced software solutions that will open the door to new businesses and lifestyles.”

The Kia PBV exhibition at CES 2024 will feature five concept models, including its first PBV scheduled for mass production starting in 2025.

In addition, event attendees will get to see a range of Kia-exclusive PBV technology, and a PBV-dedicated presentation and demonstration highlighting the company’s software-defined vehicle strategy and plans for partnership integration.

Further, Kia will stage talks where keynote speakers expand on the brand’s future PBV business strategies and vision for the future, including dedicated hardware such as Easy Swap and Dynamic Hybrid modularization technologies, digital solutions developed under the Hyundai Motor Group’s advanced software capabilities, and plans for global partnership integration.
