Lalamove improves benefits for partner drivers with #UpgradeSaBuhay

MANILA: Lalamove aims to continuously improve its services by launching the #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign wherein incentives and various benefits will be given to partner drivers to support, motivate, and empower them in their daily tasks.

The #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign provides benefits such as personal accident insurance and free medical consultation, and vehicular support through fuel discounts, vehicle maintenance services, and vehicular acquisition.

Verified Lalamove partner drivers must have their e-identification card in order to receive the welfare offerings of the campaign. Some benefit partners like vehicle financing may also require additional documents.

Lalamove partner drivers believe that the benefits would be of great help in their job as they work on the road.  Lalamove Partner Driver Mark Ericksson Crespo said, “Para sa akin magandang tulong po yung benepisyo ng Lalamove kasi po sa kalsada po kami nagtatrabaho. Syempre po kapag po may aksidente, maganda po yung kahit papaano, may konting tulong po kaming makukuha (For me, it's a valuable benefit because we work on the road. It's good to know that in case of an accident, there's something we can count on).”

Meanwhile, Lalamove Partner Driver John Malanom said, “Malaking tulong ang vehicle maintenance benefits ng partners ng Lalamove dahil kailangang kailangan namin ang aming sasakyan para kumita (The vehicle maintenance benefit for Lalamove partners is a significant assistance that we need to be able to earn).”

Lalamove Partner Driver Lalio Montibon also shared how the benefits would help him in his job. “Importanteng lagi kaming may load para sa pantawag at data kasi ito ang paraan para makakuha ng booking at makatawag sa mga kliyente. Nakakatuwa na pwede kaming makakuha ng murang cellphone at pang load tulong ng Lalamove. (It's important that we always have load in our mobile service for both data and calls as this is the way we get booking and how we call our customers. It's great that we can get an inexpensive cellphone and have it loaded through Lalamove).”

Even before the launch of the #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign, Lalamove had been offering a long list of benefits for their partner drivers through the Panalomove program. The organization continues to upgrade its wide array of benefits and assistance through the new campaign.

In a statement, Lalamove Philippines Managing Director Dannah Majarocon said. "To date, we have a total of 36 partners in our Panalomove program, with the initial goal to equip our partner drivers with the essentials in addressing their personal and vehicular needs. We hope that with our #UpgradeSaBuhay campaign, more and more partner drivers will become financially independent and safe on the road, especially during this pandemic."
