In 7 pictures: Lexus PH unveils all-new ES

MANILA: After making its debut at the Auto Shanghai 2025, the all-new Lexus ES has finally arrived in the Philippine market.

Now on its eighth generation, the executive sedan’s latest version is offered in battery electric and hybrid variants—expanding the brand’s electrified roster further to help it compete in the premium market

In a statement, the marque’s local arm noted that the model’s latest generation “reflects the brand's vision for the future of luxury mobility, combining electrified performance, intuitive technology, and elevated comfort in its most progressive interpretation yet.”

Here’s what you need to know about the all-new Lexus ES.

Wheel designs for the all-new Lexus ES either have 19-inch Aero alloys for the hybrid version, while the battery-powered option rides on 21-inch Luxury alloys.

Amid the differences, all of the newest Lexus ES showcases the marque’s latest design language, as expressed in the cleaner body surfaces, sleek fastback-inspired silhouette, and an updated spindle front design.

Complementing the overall aesthetics are the following color options:

• Sou (new color that debuts with the all-new ES)
• Sonic Copper
• Sonic Titanium
• Sonic Chrome
• Sonic Iridium
• White Nova Glass Flake
• Graphite Black Glass Flake

As mentioned earlier, all variations of the all-new Lexus ES are electrified.

The two hybrid variants are powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, which can dish out 243.6 horsepower (hp). Meanwhile, Lexus' debuting BEV is propelled by an electric motor moving the front wheels--ready to provide around 221 hp.

Further, the model's first full-electric option features a 74.69-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that lets the all-new ES cover 493 kilometers (based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure standard). This supports Type 2 AC charging and CCS2 DC fast charging.

Meanwhile, the all-new Lexus ES’ cabin is designed around “Omotenashi”— the Japanese principle of anticipating every guest's needs.

Acting as the centerpiece inside across all variants is the new 14-inch touchscreen display and the panoramic tilt-and-slide sunroof.

The all-new Lexus ES’ base variation is outfitted with synthetic leather upholstery and a 10-speaker audio system, while the mid-trim wears perforated synthetic leather seating and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System.

On the other hand, the nameplate’s full-electric version, which is the model’s top-spec option, has semi-aniline leather upholstery, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and adaptive variable suspension.

Moreover, the all-new ES boasts the Lexus Safety System+ 4 suite of advanced driver assistance technologies.

The Lexus ES’ starting option comes with a Back Guide Monitor, the mid- and top-of-the-line variants feature a Panoramic View Monitor.
