Linglong Tires now in PH

MANILA: Team Ridemax has expanded its portfolio by bringing Linglong Tires to the Philippines.

The automotive aftermarket firm  formally introduced the tire marque in the company last March 27.

In a statement, Team Ridemax noted that the introduction of the newest brand in the country signaled its intent to boost its presence in the country’s competitive tire segment “by offering a product line positioned between affordability and performance.”

Prior to entering the Philippine market, Linglong is already present in 173 countries, supported by more than 100,000 outlets — with its business covering Europe, Middle East, United States of America, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

Per Team Ridemax, the brand’s entry in the country “comes at a time when demand for reliable and cost-efficient automotive products continues to rise.”

“With vehicle ownership steadily increasing and more Filipinos relying on private transportation for daily mobility, the need for accessible yet dependable tire options has become more pronounced. Team Ridemax aims to address this demand by introducing Linglong as part of its commitment to provide value-driven solutions tailored to local market conditions,” the firm explained.

During the launch, Team Ridemax  immediately released Linglong Tires’ campaign for the country called “Bagong kasama sa kalsada,” positioning the brand as a reliable partner for everyday Filipino drivers. At the  latter part of the program Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito was hailed as its brand ambassador

Team Ridemax Chief Marketing Officer Jarvis Corral noted the partnership’s significance, saying that Linglong is a strong addition to the company’s lineup.

“Tonight marks an exciting new chapter for Team Ridemax Philippines as we proudly welcome a reliable brand into our growing portfolio,” he said, adding that they see Linglong aligned with its vision of delivering quality and performance to Filipino drivers.

For her part, National Sales Manager Edilyn Briones shared how the brand fits into the company’s broader direction.

“Linglong represents what today’s market needs. Quality tires that are reliable, durable, and accessible,” she said.

Briones also elaborated that positioning the brand within the mid-market segment allows Team Ridemax to bridge the gap between affordability and performance, making dependable mobility more attainable.

Further, she revealed that the company is partnering with a group of dealers nationwide to ensure more focused retail and marketing efforts. Such an approach, Briones said, allows them to build long-term partnerships while maintaining quality control in distribution and delivering consistent service to consumers.

Linglong Tires—how it started

Linglong Tires was founded in 1975 by Shandong Linglong Tyre Company. Over the past 490 years, the company has advanced into an integrated enterprise covering tire design, development, manufacturing, and distribution  — with its products ranging from passenger car radial tires, light truck tires, truck and bus radials, and off-road tires used across various sectors.

Today, Linglong already has seven research institutions and seven production bases around the world, supported by a 19-employee workforce.

As the brand begins its rollout across the country, both Linglong and Team Ridemax are looking toward sustained growth through partnerships, dealer networks, and continued market engagement. With a combination of global manufacturing experience and localized distribution, the company aims to establish Linglong as a practical and dependable option for drivers navigating the demands of daily travel in the Philippines.
