LTO ends Stradcom’s LTO-ID system usage

MANILA: The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has discontinued Stradcom’s LTO-ID system for all agency transactions.

The move, ordered by LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao, follows an order from the Office of the Ombudsman leading to the exclusive adoption of the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).

Under Memorandum Nos. MVL-2026-207 and MVL-2026-208, the LTO-IT System will no longer be utilized at enhanced driver’s license system pilot sites and 42 designated temporary offsite printing offices.

Additionally, the processing of certificates of stock report for new motor vehicle registrations, registration renewals, driver’s license applications, related requests, and miscellaneous transactions are now required to go through the LTMS.

Driver’s license services covered by the order include:

• Renewal
• New application
• Duplication/replacement
• Change of information

The transition to the LTMS is a crucial part of our efforts to achieve more efficient processes and provide better service to our motorists),” Lacanilao was quoted as saying.
