Lynk & Co PH introduces Origin SE as new 06 base trim

MANILA: Lynk & Co Philippines, under the management of United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI), has introduced the new 06 Origin SE variant. 

According to the brand’s local arm, the 06 Origin SE serves as the 06’s latest entry-level trim, priced at P1.099 million. 

Appearance-wise, it features a sleek-looking body similar to the other higher-spec 06 variants. It also features a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood of the Lynk & Co 06 Origin SE is a familiar 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine, and just like on the more expensive versions, it can still deliver up to 178 horsepower and 290 Newton-meters of torque. Power is sent to the model’s front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.

For its interior, the model was equipped with a lineup of advanced driver-assist systems (ADAS), such as:

• 360-degree view camera
• Blind spot detection
• Adaptive cruise control
• Lane-keep assist
• Lane departure warning

The model was also kitted out with a 12.3-inch high-definition infotainment touchscreen, and leather upholstery - among others. 

Per Lynk & Co Philippines’ Facebook page, the all-new 06 Origin SE will be available to see in the metal at the UAAGI On the Move Roadshow from May 29 to June 1 at SM Mall of Asia. Interested parties can see the said model, along with other cars from Lynk & Co, Chery, BAIC, Foton, and Jetour. 

Additionally, the company has partnered with content creator Small Laude to promote the 06 Origin SE. 

According to Lynk & Co Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt, Laude is the perfect representative of the brand.

“When Small Laude shows up, there’s nothing ‘small’ about it. She’s unapologetically herself; she’s sophisticated yet playful, accessible yet aspirational, and that’s exactly the kind of energy we generate at Lynk & Co,” Decloedt said.
