Oracle Red Bull Racing reveals new F1 liveries ahead of 2026 season

MANILA: The Formula One Red Bull team and Racing Bulls, which both compete under Oracle Red Bull Racing, have revealed their vehicle liveries ahead of the 2026 race season. 

Interestingly, the Red Bull team opted to choose a predominantly black livery combined with plenty of blue colored fields - reflecting the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula One racing team’s new partnership with Ford. 

The Racing Bulls team, meanwhile, retained the mostly white color scheme that it has used since its inception, combined with black and, of course, bits of blue, again, to represent their new relationship with the American car manufacturer. 

The aforementioned colorway for the 2026 Red Bull Formula One race car is likewise reminiscent of the classic look of the RB1 - the team’s first-ever race vehicle that was fielded during the 2025 season.

Notably, the pictures of the liveries also show the new silhouettes of the two teams’ Formula One cars. As usual, Oracle Red Bull Racing has kept mum regarding their technical specifications, but their new race vehicles - the RB22 - now sport new powertrain units. 

Judging from the pictures alone, the new Formula One contenders are narrower compared to the ones used in the 2025 season. 

“2026 marks the start of a new and significant era for Formula One and for Red Bull,” Red Bull Racing Principal Laurent Mekies said. 

“We wanted our livery to reflect this, while also giving a nod to Red Bull Racing’s beginnings.  We are in F1 because of the dream of one man, Dietrich Mateschitz, and several years later, he had another dream, to create an engine,” Mekies added. 

“This livery is designed to celebrate that spirit that we entered the sport with. In the year that an Oracle Red Bull Racing car carries a Red Bull Ford Powertrains PU for the first time, it felt only right to reflect some of our history in our livery,” Mekies shared further.

Oracle Red Bull Racing: 2025 results

In 2025, Oracle Red Bull Racing, with their drivers Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson, finished the season with a total of 451 points, eight wins, and 15 podiums. 

The aforementioned podiums for the 2025 season were all won by Verstappen, who himself finished up 2025 with a total of 421 points, resulting in second place in the season’s Driver’s Championship. 

Within the same year, Laurent Mekies took over as Team Principal after Christian Horner’s departure. Oracle Red Bull Racing Team also brought in Pierre Waché as its new Technical Director. In the first quarter of 2025, Adrian Newey also left Oracle Red Bull Racing to join Aston Martin. 

The year 2025 likewise marked the last season Oracle Red Bull Racing tapped Honda as its powertrain supplier for Formula One.
