See the next-gen Toyota Tamaraw’s variants, conversions at 4 events this month

MANILA: The next-generation Toyota Tamaraw will be showcased at four events this month that will highlight its versatility in various industries.

In a statement, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) shared that the utility vehicle will be seen at the following events:

• Asia Food Expo (AFEX) Philippines
• PURVEYR Fair
• Philippine Building and Construction Expo (PHILBEX) 2026
• Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH) Grandparents Day Pit Stop

At AFEX (which will be held on September 9-12 at the World Trade Center), the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw will have four configurations: Utility Van, GL Dropside, Wing Van, and Ref Van.

Meanwhile, the model will be seen in the GL Dropside variant at PHILBEX Cebu—set for September 10-13 at the IEC Convention Center Cebu—to showcase it as a work horse in the building and construction industry. Interested parties may also test drive the vehicle at the venue.

TMP will also highlight the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw’s different character as two units will go beyond the usual passenger and cargo transport configurations at PURVEYR Fair on September 12-13 to be held at the World Trade Center Tent. A pair of GL Dropside options will be used as a DJ booth and a pop-up flower store—using their open rear sections as a foundation for two very different mobile setups. 

A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed at the fair in support of Waves For Water—demonstrating another way the vehicle can be utilized as a medium for spreading a business’ advocacy and a functional mobile business space.

Lastly, eventgoers of the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH) Grandparents Day Pit Stop will also have the chance to see a Tamaraw GL Dropside on September 12-13 at Cash & Carry Makati.

Introduced in 2024, the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw offers a highly configurable platform meant for customization that will cater to the needs and lifestyles of any business owner or individual.

To note, the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw comes with a starting price of P937,000.
