Shell PH honored with back-to-back accolades at Asian Experience Awards

MANILA: Shell Pilipinas was honored with two back-to-back accolades at the recently held Asian Experience Award.

The two commendations, which are the Philippines Distribution Experience of the Year – Energy and Philippines User Experience of the Year – Energy, acknowledge the fuel firm’s contributions to enhancing partner and user experiences in the energy sector.

Shell Fleet Card

Shell Pilipinas has partnered with Grab Philippines to distribute Fleet Cards to provide economic relief to drivers and foster mutual business growth. Through the initiative called Grab Distribution Campaign, the latter’s partner-drivers were granted a seven-day payment term for fuel purchases through the said fuel card.

In just five months, Shell Pilipinas and Grab Philippines handed over some 3,000 Fleet Cards.

The said campaign won the Philippines Distribution Experience of the Year – Energy award and serves as a testament to Shell’s commitment to supporting partners and customers in challenging times and the innovative problem-solving approach displayed by the fuel company.

We continue to innovate solutions to deliver on this commitment, exemplified by initiatives like the Shell Fuel Card. The Shell Fuel Card allows us to offer a critical financial lifeline to our driver-partners in the face of economic headwinds including fluctuations in fuel cost — consequently enabling them to efficiently manage their finances,” Grab Financial Group Philippines Country Head Martha Borja noted.

Shell Fleet App

Shell Pilipinas launched the Sheel Fleet App (SFA) in April 2022.

The said smartphone application offers a digital solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) by streamlining the fleet card application process and providing a smoother transition to a cashless fuel management system.

According to Shell Pilipinas, the SFA platform provides real-time card management features, online payment, and monthly billing through electronic invoices while offering SMEs security, convenience, and time-saving benefits.

SFA has won the fuel brand the Philippines User Experience of the Year – Energy award.

“SFA is designed with the purpose of empowering SME owners to manage their fleet anytime, anywhere on their mobile phone. We are elated to win the Best User Experience Award in the Philippines in the Asian Experience Award. This is a testament to how this digital channel is changing the way SMEs manage their fuel expenses, invoices, driver management, and more. We try to ease their daily business life by ensuring less time is spent on paperwork and admin and more time on growing the business.
