Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 is ‘every true-blue off-roader’s dream’

MANILA: Harley-Davidson of Manila has expanded its lineup in the country with the launch of the 2021 Pan America Special 1250.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 redefines adventure touring with its innovative features that will provide an exceptional riding experience. The newest addition to the Harley-Davidson lineup in the Philippines is developed to upgrade every rider’s off-road adventure.

In a statement, Harley-Davidson of Manila President Francis Jonathan Ang said, “Once we are all ready to ride again, we will surely be looking to visit more fun locations where we can bask in the ambience of the great outdoors. That’s why we are excited to bring you the 2021 Pan America Special in the Philippines. Designed to conquer any terrain, the 2021 Pan America Special will suit your taste for adventure. A mixture of both the familiar and the revolutionary, this adventure bike has placed a form and function in a rugged package that is uniquely Harley-Davidson.”

The Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 is powered by a liquid-cooled, Revolution Max 1250 engine with a six-gear drivetrain. The powertrain generates a maximum torque of 128Nm. The Pan America Special 1250 can muster 100 kilometers while sipping on only 5.5 liters. It has a fuel capacity of 21.2 liters.

To achieve potent stopping power, the Pan America Special 1250 is equipped with a radially mounted, monoblock four-piston caliper in the front and a floating single piston caliper in the rear.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 measures 2,265mm long,  has a wheelbase of 1,580mm, and a seat height of 836mm that provides a comfortable ride even on long journeys.

It also comes with a 6.8-inch gauge TFT touchscreen display that shows the speedometer, gear, odometer, clock tripmeter, ambient temperature, low temperature alert, side stand alert, tip over alert, cruise, range, and tachometer indicator. It can also be connected to a smartphone through Bluetooth.

Harley-Davidson of Manila Assistant Vice President Jay Bautista stated, “You’ve seen and heard all the exciting features of the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America Special that exude capability, functionality and durability. Definitely, it was designed for riders to embrace real-life adventure.”

The Harley-Davidson Pan America Special 1250 comes in four color variants: Deadwood Green, Baja Orange/Stonewashed White Pearl, Gauntlet Gray Metallic, and Vivid. The adventure touring motorcycle is now available for a test ride and reservations at the Harley-Davidson showrooms in Bonifacio Global City and EDSA Greenhills. Pricing starts at P1.4 million.
