Harley-Davidson reveals 8 new models for 2022 lineup

MANILA: Harley-Davidson has unveiled the eight new additional models to its 2022 lineup. Each model is powered by the Milwaukee-117, the most powerful factory-installed engine by Harley-Davidson. Among the new models are the Grand American Touring line’s Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST models, the high-powered Low Rider S and the new Low Rider ST Cruiser variant, and four super-premium models from Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO).

“As part of our focus on stronghold segments, including the Grand American Touring and Cruiser, the 2022 product line is designed for power and performance. Each of these new models feature the unrivalled power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117, for those riders who want nothing but the biggest and the best, building on our position as the most desirable motorcycle brand in the world,” Harley-Davidson Chairman, President, and CEO Jochen Zeitz stated.

With the launch of the Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST models, Harley-Davidson upgrades bagger performance and delivers the purposeful style of the championship-winning MotoAmerica King of the Baggers race bikes to the street. The STs are equipped with the full suite of Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring features, including Reflex linked Brembo brakes with ABS, Boom! Box GTS infotainment system with color touch screen and navigation, cruise control, and Daymaker LED headlamps. The iconic Harley-Davidson batwing fairing is featured on the Street Glide ST, while the Road Glide ST has an aerodynamic frame-mounted sharknose fairing with dual headlamps.

Meanwhile, the Low Rider S is a high-performance cruiser kingpin built for the rider who demands unrelenting power. The new Low Rider ST variant also comes with hard bags, a new frame-mounted fairing, and a Harley-Davidson Audio system powered by Rockford Fosgate.

We took the iconic Motor Company design from the '80s and gave it a new identity with a modern echo. Add the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, a taller suspension and raised saddlebags and the Low Rider ST delivers both a dynamic visual package as well as a dramatic performance punch,” said Harley-Davidson Vice President of Design Brad Richards.

Harley Davidson CVO’s premium limited-production factory-custom models provide the most discerning rider a one-of-a-kind motorcycle that represents the pinnacle of style and design from the world’s sought-after motorcycle brand. Exclusive handcrafted paint and designs are done to an unrivaled level of detailed excellence in the motorcycle and automotive categories. The CVO models also come standard with a premium Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rocksford Fosgate system, a Boom! Audio 30K Bluetooth Helmet Headset, and Harley-Davidson Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements. Each model comes in new paint options for 2022.

Harley-Davidson’s Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements is a suite of technologies developed to assist the rider in maintaining the rider’s intended path through a curve. It is standard on CVO models and available as an option on all Grand American Touring models. This package includes cornering electronically linked brakes, cornering-ABS, cornering-traction control with modes, drag torque slip control, vehicle hold control, and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS).
