Honda PH might be launching all-new Navi this week

MANILA: Based on a short teaser posted by Honda Philippines Incorporated on its social media pages, the all-new Navi could be entering the local market. Additionally, the said teaser indicated that the model will have its official introduction on July 11, 2025, at Market! Market! McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 

Being a teaser, the brand didn’t directly reveal the identity of the new motorcycle nameplate outright, but the silhouette shown in its social media posts bears a similar shape to the very compact 109-cubic-centimeter (CC) Navi. 

For the unaware, the Honda Navi is a small “pocket” backbone motorcycle similar in class to the Honda Grom and the Monkey. Style-wise, it bears the trappings of a motard-style two-wheeler, with the versions sold in the United States and Mexico equipped with tubeless street tires. 

While we wait for the specifications and pricing details of the upcoming Philippine-spec Honda Navi to be released, let’s take a look at the version currently sold in Mexico. 

Honda Navi: specifications

According to Honda Mexico, the Navi utilizes a scooter platform combined “with the characteristics of a standard motorcycle.” As such, it is described as a “crossover,” which, with its compact size and unique styling, is touted to be the ideal ride for the modern urbanite. 

Propelling the Mexican-spec Navi is a 109-cc single-cylinder, four-stroke gasoline air-cooled engine that’s capable of producing up to 7.83 horsepower (hp) and 8.96 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. 

It also utilizes both an electric starting system and a kick starter, as well as a piston valve carburetor, a trochoidal pump, and a wet sump lubrication system. 

One of the more interesting elements of the Honda Navi is its luggage box, which is positioned below the fuel tank and its swingarm-mounted engine. The aforementioned is a clear sign of its scooter platform.
