Honda Philippines launches 2019 CRF250L Rally; priced at Php 284,900

MANILA: Honda Philippines has announced the arrival of the new CRF250L Rally. It is also fielding a team at the 2019 Lahar Challenge, scheduled for May 4 to 5. This is going to be Honda’s first ever participation at this annual off-roading event to exploit the potential of its latest arrival.

Department manager for motorcycle planning of HPI, Hervic Villa said “We are excited to announce the release of the new CRF250 Rally. This model is designed to take both on-road and off-road endurance riding with greater ease, which makes it a perfect ride for those who want to feel the toughness of the road”

CRF250L Rally will be operated via a select team of riders, and this is going to be the best opportunity for Honda to extol the two-wheeler’s off-road aptness.

To start with the exterior, the motorbike flaunts a tall windscreen, which coalesces dual LED headlights and LED indicators. The front outfit and sweeping curves along the body give the bike a sporty look. Complete digitalisation is seen on the part of the instrument panel, which was duly expected from the manufacturers. Aesthetics include a new Honda Racing Corporation (HRC)-inspired sticker elements that pronounce the athletic character of the two-wheeler.
A 35.1-inch seat height falls a bit over the comfortable range. However, this mope is compensated by a decent 10-inch ground clearance that enhances the bike’s off-roading abilities.

On the safety and comfort front, the street runner gets front-disc brakes for better stopping power and a monoshock Pro-link to deal with the irregularities of uneven roads.

To its core, there is the highly capable DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with an impressive 250 cc of displacement. It delivers enough power to beat the challenging trails of Lahar Challange 2019.

Honda is offering this sports bike with a price tag of Php 284,900 that includes equipment of knobby tyres as standard.
