Honda unveils presents 4 2-wheelers for PH market

MANILA: Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) has unveiled four new models for the local market.

Under the Japanese motorcycle marque’s newly-revealed roster — showcased at the Makina Moto Expo 2025 last April 4-6 — are three fuel-powered engines and one electric mill.

The aforementioned lineup is made up of:

All-new CUV e:	All-new CB1000 Hornet
All-new ADV350	Goldwing 50th Anniversary

Motorcycle specifications

All-new Honda CUV e:

Building on the success of the EM1: e (marque’s first), the all-new CUV e: expanded the marque’s local electric motorcycle stable — further showcasing its commitment to electrification.

Giving riders another option to ride in a more sustainable way, the latest product is equipped with an E-Drive Side Motor (Brushless) that can provide the following numbers to its rear-wheel:

Maximum output (in horsepower [hp>)	Eight
Peak torque (in Newton meters [Nm>)	22

Such an output allows the motorcycle to reach a top speed of 83 kilometers per hour (kph).

Meanwhile, its pair of removable 26.1 ampere-hour Honda Mobile Power Pack Charger e: batteries give the all-new Honda CUV e: an estimated range of 77.3 kilometers in standard mode and about 25-percent more on Econ mode. Such battery packs can be juiced up in six hours (0-100 percent).

Providing stability to the vehicle are the lightweight underbone frame and telescopic front suspension.

Other amenities include:

• Five-inch thin film transistor (TFT) meter panel
• Honda Smart Key
• Combi Brake System
• LED lighting
• USB Type-C charging port
• Multiple riding modes (Standard, Econ, Sports)

The all-new Honda CUV e: is priced at P273,000.

All-new ADV350

A rugged and stylish adventure scooter, the all-new Honda ADV350 serves as the ADV160’s bigger brother in the country.

Powering the motorcycle is a 330-cubic-centimeter, four stroke, four valve, single overhead cam (SOHC), liquid-cooled engine with ESP+ (Enhanced Smart Power Plus) technology that can provide churns of up to:

Maximum output (in hp)	28.8
Peak torque (in Nm)	31.8

Based on World Motorcycle Cycle Standards, the said engine can do 30 kilometers per liter (kpl) consumption — giving riders more roads to cover with its 11.7-liter tank.

Its stopping power comes from the two-channel anti-lock braking system while absorbing the ruts are the knobby tires, upside-down front fork and subtank rear suspension system.

Moreover, the all-new Honda ADV350 is outfitted with the following technologies:

• Honda RoadSync (for smartphone connectivity)
• Emergency stop signal
• All LED lighting and Auto-Winker Cancellation
• Honda Smart Key
• 48-liter U-box (48L) with Seat Stopper and illumination
• Four-level adjustable windscreen
• Five-inch full color TFT meter panel,
• In-console box with Type-C USB charger

All-New CB1000 Hornet

Another bold motorcycle that was displayed at the event was the all-new Honda CB1000 Hornet.

Per HPI, the high-displacement naked motorcycle — designed to deliver “exhilarating acceleration and dynamic handling” — will have its official launch this month.

Equipped with a 1,000-cc liquid-cooled, double overhead cam, four-stroke, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine that gives:

Power is sent via the six-speed manual transmission with wet, multi-plate clutch.

Guaranteeing smooth handling for the motorcycle are:

• Diamond/steel frame
• Showa 41-millimeter front forks and Ohlins monoshock damper
• Prolink swingarm

The All-New CB1000 Hornet is fitted with a five-inch TFT cluster gauge with customizable layout that includes speedometer, tachometer, clock, gear position and upshift indicator along with HISS (Honda Ignition Security System).

Its suggested retail price is P750,000.

Goldwing 50th Anniversary

Taking the booth’s center stage is the Honda Goldwing 50th Anniversary.

This iconic touring motorcycle comes with a myriad of advanced and luxurious tech.

Propelling the legendary nameplate’s newest offering is a 1,833-cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 24-valve, SOHC flat-six engine that has the capacity to dish out

Other comfort appliques include:

• Seven-speed Forward and Reverse (DCT) transmission.
• Shaft Final Drive
• Double wishbone front and Pro-Link rear suspensions
• Seven-inch full-color liquid crystal display screen

• Electronically-Controlled Combined ABS

Offered in two colorways, the Honda Goldwing is being retailed in two options:

• 50th Anniversary Color (Eternal Gold): P2.1 million
• Standard variant (Digital Silver Metallic): P2.05 million

The said product will arrive in Honda Flagship and Wingshop dealerships nationwide beginning next month.

Aside from the four, HPI also displayed the Rebel1100, Africa Twin (DCT), and the X-ADV as well as the display of Pro-Honda Oil, Accessories, and Apparel, featuring high-quality products that complement and enhance the Honda riding experience.
