Niu reveals RQi-GT and TQi-GT e-bikes at 2020 CES
MANILA: Niu Technologies, a Chinese electric automaker, has introduced two new products at the ongoing 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. The two e-bikes can be viewed at booth number 35606 of South Hall 4 at the mega event. Revealed in the Sin City, the two bikes carry the titles RQi-GT and TQi-GT. While the RQi-GT is a conventional e-bike, the TQi-GT, on the flip side is a trike (three-wheeler).

Starting with TQi-GT, it is a self-balancing three-wheeler equipped with a canopy that provides the rider and the pillion with a true all-weather urban mobility solution. Moreover, being an electric vehicle, the trike does less harm to the environment while serving the purpose of hassle-free transportation just as well as other fuel guzzlers. Having a look at the Niu TQi-GT's specs, the trike features a modest top speed of 80 kmph alongside a single-charge range of 230 km. Niu claims that a Type 2 charger will fill the trike with enough juice for week's usage. On the safety front, the Niu TQi-GT gets an SRS airbag, traction control, and ABS. Moreover, the trike also comes equipped with the likes of self-parking, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision detection, and regenerative braking.

Moving on to the Niu RQi-GT, the urban steer-bike gets a mid-mounted belt drive motor system that is capable of generating a peak power output of 30 kW. Powering the electric motor is a pair of Panasonic lithium batteries, which form a 6.5 kWh setup that works in tandem with NIU Battery Pack Architecture. As for the performance figures, the Niu RQi-GT sports a top speed of 165 kmph and a single-charge range of 135 km. Different riding modes, adaptive headlamp, traction control system, anti-theft & GPS tracking, and ABS further enhance the riding experience.
Both the Niu feature 5G IoT connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and are NIU Cloud & app connected. "At NIU, we don’t just design and create electric scooters, we are reimagining the future of urban mobility. Our scooters combine hardware, software and IoT connectivity to create energy-efficient solutions and advanced riding technology combined with intuitive user experience.
