Tara Global brings new ride-hailing app in PH

MANILA: Tara Global Technology Incorporated has officially entered the Philippine mobility scene with the official launch of Tara Ride.

Expected to go toe-to-toe with industry giants like Grab and Joyride, the country’s newest ride-hailing mobile app—founded by Marc Bundalian—was created to provide Filipinos a new choice for everyday mobility. 

“Tara was built with the Filipino commuter in mind. We want to give people more choices, while creating opportunities for drivers and building technology that responds to how Filipinos actually move, ” the Tara Global Technology Incorporated chair said.

In an interview, Bundalian told Zigwheels Philippines that at launch Tara Ride already has around 5,000 driver partners that are ready to serve the commuting public.

According to him, the platform’s initial rollout is focused in the National Capital Region, with plans to expand in more key areas such as Cebu, Pampanga and Davao.

How to use 

Now available for download Google Play and the Apple App Store, Tara Ride lets users book rides, track their trips in real time, manage multiple stops, and access digital payment and safety features through the platform.

More than a ride-hailing application, Tara aims to become part of the Philippines' evolving mobility ecosystem connecting passengers, drivers, businesses, and technology in one platform.

“As Philippine cities continue to face growing transportation demands, TARA believes technology can play a meaningful role in making mobility more accessible, connected, and responsive,” the company mentioned in a statement.
