Yamaha PH honors 10 sales leaders for 2025

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. (YMPH) has announced its top 10 local distributors by sales volume for 2025. 

The aforementioned companies were honored at the recent YMPH dealer summit, which featured the theme “Live to Defy,” which is also the name of its latest campaign.   

Topping the Philippine sales charts for YMPH for the fiscal year 2025 was Motortrade Nationwide Corporation. In second place was Des Marketing Incorporated, followed by Premio Corporation in third. 

Here are the other companies (ranked in order from seventh to 10th) that were awarded by YMPH for their sales volume during its latest dealer summit:

YMPH Dealer Summit

Apart from awarding its top distributors, the YMPH Dealer Summit likewise highlighted the company’s latest initiatives. 

The aforementioned includes the My Yamaha App, which is touted to strengthen the digital connection between the motorcycle company’s clients, their motorcycles, and YMPH itself. Also highlighted were the E-Warranty service for providing efficiency and transparency for its clients, the company’s various aftersales services, and many other programs. 

YMPH also clearly defined its strategy for the year ahead. As evident from its tech-forward customer services, the Japanese marque’s local arm is looking to challenge outdated practices from the ground up. 

To show this in a meaningful manner to attending dealers and employees, YMPH spearheaded a theatrical production highlighting its commitment to riders who “Live to Defy.” 

Likewise shown at the YMPH Dealer Summit was the new LEXI automatic motorcycle, which is positioned to bridge the gap between the company’s 125 cubic centimeter (cc) models and its larger 155 cc offerings. 

YMPH followed up the new Yamaha LEXI’s preview with its official public launch, which was held at SM Mall of Asia by the Bay. 

Yamaha LEXI

The new Yamaha LEXI is available with an introductory price P99,900. Its color options include Black and Matte Green. 

Propelling the new Yamaha LEXI is a 155 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve, gasoline engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). The aforementioned is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a dry centrifugal clutch system. 

At maximum, the newly introduced nameplate can generate up to 15.1 horsepower and 14.2 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

Notable features of the new Yamaha LEXI include a wide footboard, a spacious seat, LED lighting fixtures with high-mounted turn signal lamps, a liquid crystal display (LCD) digital gauge cluster, 14-inch wheels with tubeless tires, and a USB-ready power socket - among others.
