Yamaha to don new corporate, anniversary logos

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Company Limited will don a new logo soon, which will replace the current one worn for 27 years already.

In a statement, the company said that the new badge came in time for the brand’s celebration of its 70th founding anniversary this year.

According to Yamaha Motor, the new logo was designed “with digital applications in mind” and uses a flat Tuning Fork Mark for greater conspicuity. The transition will start within the month.

In addition, the firm also made a special logo to commemorate its 70th year.

Based on the racing number plates used in the Company's first motorcycle race shortly after it was founded, the aforementioned layout was made under the concept of “Everything Begins with a Challenge.”

The 70th anniversary logo will be used in various events, marketing tools, and corporate items throughout the year to publicize this milestone internally and externally.

Following the changes happening globally, Yamaha Motor’s business will also shift “from a focus on selling products to offering value through both products and services.”

“As we adapt to these changes, Yamaha Motor will carry on the traditions and record of achievements we have written over the last 70 years and continue taking on new challenges under our new corporate banner,” the firm ended.
