You may also opt to avail the optional Burmester sound system for a more immersive sound experience inside the cabin. Your co-pilot also gets their own 8.8-inch display. These three displays make up Ferrari’s new Human Machine Interface (HMI) technology.

In terms of comfort and convenience, its Alcantara seats offer great ergonomics for both the driver and the co-pilot even on long-distance trips. You also get a decent room for your light baggage and other stuff at the back.

In terms of dimensions, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider measures 4,733 mm in length, 2,176 mm in width, and 1,292 mm in height. This super grand tourer comes with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider’s retractable hard roof design is inspired by the classic silhouette of the open-topped grand tourers of the 50s and 60s. 

Upfront, its facade looks aggressive for a tourer but a bit more subtle for super car standards. Similar to its Coupe counterpart, it also flaunts Ferrari’s beautiful cofango clamshell hood, which gives its front end a strong elegant touch. At night, it emits a confident flare courtesy of its sleek horizontal LED headlamps along with blade-like LED DRLs. Connecting the two headlamps is a black wraparound panel that resembles the facades of legendary Ferrari models. A sporty-looking bumper adds more detail to its overall demeanor on the road.

Its stylish modern open-topped architecture is very evident on the side. The retractable hardtop can be opened in around 14 seconds, even at low speeds.

Its 21-inch wheels look a bit more reserved than what its Coupe version runs on, yet these wheels still give the 12Cilindri Spider a high-performance silhouette. A Ferrari badge is proudly displayed on the side of its clamshell hood. And, for more hypermodernity, this super grand tourer comes with flush door handles. 

Trailing behind this vehicle is very enjoyable thanks to its futuristic-looking LED tail light strip. Like its Coupe counterpart, it also comes with twin tailpipes and a muscular diffuser for enhanced aerodynamics. Lastly, the two ‘buttresses’ formed on its rear distinguishes it from the 12Cilindri (Coupe) appearance-wise.

Similar to its Coupe counterpart, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider comes with a Double Wishbone suspension at the front, while a Multi-Link at the rear. It handles sharp turns or corners excellently even at higher speeds (despite the added weight). However, due to its low ground clearance, it wouldn't be advisable to use this on Metro Manila’s rough and bumpy concrete roads. That said, this super grand tourer thrives more on the highway and on the race track.

Powering the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider is a 6.5L V12 engine that delivers an impressive 830 cv (819 hp) and 678 Nm of torque. The Spider utilizes a rear-wheel drivetrain and comes mated to an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission system. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.95 seconds and has a top speed of over 340 kmph. 

Despite having a bit more weight than its Coupe counterpart, the 12Cilindri Spider is still crazy quick off the line. It runs with immense enthusiasm and finesse thanks to its best-in-class DCT and outstanding aerodynamics. You can also hear its magnificent roar on the road even at lower speeds because of its open-topped architecture.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider comes with front and rear ventilated disc brakes. Its braking setup is supported by Ferrari’s ABS Evo and Performance ABS as well as electronic stability control and traction control. This super grand tourer is also equipped with a 6D sensor, side impact beams, emergency SOS, driver and passenger front and side airbags, adaptive cruise control, and Ferrari’s Side Slip Control (SSC) among others.
