The best part of the Mini 3-door compact hatchback is its engine. The 1.5-litre unit is exciting to drive and the powertrain never delays in response. The cabin has a neo-retro look which goes well with the rest of the car’s appearance. The seating is comfortable but only for daily commuting. The Mini 3-door is a subcompact car and cabin space is certainly not one of the best. Maximum 4 passengers can ride in relative comfort. The handling is go-kart type. Maneuverability is easy. But the suspension often feels jittery on imperfect roads. Buy it only if you want an affordable subcompact car.
