Suzuki Celerio 2024 is available in the Philippines in a price range of ₱708,000 - 754,000. For the base variant, you’ll have to pay ₱708,000 and for the top-spec variant, the price goes up to ₱754,000.
How many variants are there in the Suzuki Celerio range?
Suzuki Celerio 2024 is available in 2 different variants- the base variant 1.0L GL MT and the top-spec version Suzuki Celerio 1.0L GL AGS.
Which is the most value-for-money variant of the Suzuki Celerio?
The Celerio GL MT is the most value-for-money variant due to its reduced long-term maintenance costs and lower purchase price. Both versions share identical features and engine specs, but the GL MT variant is budget-friendly and well-equipped.
What features does the Suzuki Celerio get?
The Suzuki Celerio showcases dynamic and vibrant styling with a more curvaceous and rounded look than its predecessors. The front boasts a rounded grille with teardrop-shaped headlamps, chrome accents, and fog lamp housings. Side contours are very smooth, complemented by electrically adjustable mirrors and body-colored door handles, while standard features are 15-inch alloy wheels with caps. At the rear, it maintains a rounded theme with a clean boot lid and teardrop-shaped tail lamps, complete with a defogger, wiper, and washer.
The interior has been designed to energize with its modern and lively styling. The cabin features an all-black, simple theme with contrasting silver accents. It also features a three-spoke steering wheel beautifully adorned with silver accents, integrating Bluetooth and audio controls. The instrument console has a compact design and it includes an offset tachometer. The center console features a U-shaped silver housing that supports the touchscreen infotainment system. The rounded AC vents are framed by additional silver accents, and the lower center console comprises manual AC controls. The layout is space-efficient and practical, maintaining the focus of the company on functionality.
The unique button placement makes the Celerio stand out, although it is not the most ergonomic. The front power window and door lock buttons are situated below the infotainment system on the dashboard. While they can be accessed easily from the driver's seat, their placement seems to be a bit unusual.
How spacious is the Suzuki Celerio?
The Suzuki Celerio’s seats are positioned at a good height, and it offers optimum space for four adults and a kid. The Suzuki Celerio’s rear seat can easily fit up to three passengers. Power windows enhance the comfort factor for the rear passengers, though they need to locate the controls behind the handbrake on the center console, which can be inconvenient at times.
The Celerio is very practical in terms of cargo space. The spacious trunk can comfortably accommodate three to four overnight bags, making it a great choice for daily use. Additionally, the 60:40 split-folding design of the rear seats enhances the versatility of this vehicle. This contributes to expanded cargo capacity when required allowing you to fit in additional luggage or larger items. The flexibility offered by Celerio makes it a practical option for various needs, from weekend getaways to grocery runs.

This engine also powers the previous-generation Celerio and S-Presso and is known for its reliability refinement. It offers 89 Nm of torque and a maximum output of 66.7 PS. Despite its small dimensions, this engine offers an efficient and smooth driving experience, balancing fuel efficiency with performance.

Suzuki Celerio Interior & Features
Suzuki has kept things pretty simple and basic for the cabin of the second-generation Celerio, which like other hatchbacks from Suzuki, has an all-black theme with contrast silver accents at places. Like the exterior, the cabin layout of the Suzuki Celerio is also massively different from the previous-generation model, though the cabin is still high on space and practicality.
The Suzuki Celerio gets an all-new three-spoke steering wheel with silver accents and audio and Bluetooth controls and has a conventional and compact instrument console with an offset tachometer behind it. The centre console has a U-shaped housing with a silver finish for the side and lower edges, which accommodates the 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system within it. More silver accents can be seen around the rounded AC vents on the corners of the dashboard, while the lower centre console here gets manual AC controls.
Celerio Exterior
Compared to the previous-generation Suzuki Celerio, which was more of a tall boy car, this new second-generation version has a more rounded appeal all around its exterior. This vastly different design language makes the Suzuki Celerio look cutesy, though the design isn’t revolutionary but safe and easy to the eyes.
Everything at the front of the Suzuki Celerio has a rounded appearance, starting from the front grille, which has whiskers-shaped chrome garnish on either side of the Suzuki badge in the middle which extends to the headlamps on the sides. The headlamps are also teardrop-shaped, while the fog lamp housings on the lower corners of the front bumper also have rounded themes, which are placed adjacent to the trapezoidal air dam in the middle.
The Suzuki Celerio looks smooth and curvaceous towards the side, with this compact hatchback having smooth contours for the front and rear fenders and door panels. The Suzuki Celerio comes standard with body-coloured door handles and rearview mirrors, with the latter also being electrically adjustable. The Suzuki Celerio come standard with 14-inch steel wheels with wheel caps.
The rear profile of the Suzuki Celerio also has a rounded and curvaceous appearance, with the tail lamps also having teardrop-shaped tail lamps with curved upper edges. The well-contoured boot lid has a clean design, while the rear windscreen here gets a wiper, washer and defogger too.
Suzuki Celerio Ride & Handling
The Suzuki Celerio is a breeze to drive in the city traffic conditions and tight lanes due to its compact size and light steering, which though lacks feedback when driven at higher triple-digit speeds. The suspension setup of the Suzuki Celerio – Macpherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear – is finely balanced, eventually resulting in a decently comfortable ride quality.
Celerio Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Suzuki Celerio is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which is offered with both the transmission choices of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. This is the same engine that powered the previous-generation Celerio and also powers the S-Presso. This three-cylinder petrol engine is popular for its refinement and reliability, and in the Celerio, it claims 66.7 PS of maximum power and 89 Nm of maximum torque.
Suzuki Celerio Braking & Safety
Suzuki has equipped the Celerio with bare basic safety features like dual front airbags, ABS and electronic stability control, with the AGS version also coming equipped with hill hold control as standard.
Celerio Verdict
With a significantly different design language, there is a shift in the overall appearance of the Suzuki Celerio. However, besides the vastly different exterior and interior, the Suzuki Celerio retains its core strength in this second-generation model, which includes a reliable, peppy, and fuel-efficient engine, space on the inside, and easy-to-drive character.
