Awesome interior, refined engine
I tried out my cousin’s Corolla Altis for almost a month and every moment with this vehicle has been an enjoyable experience for me. The ride quality is quite smooth and enjoyable, providing stability and comfort, particularly on lengthy highway stretches. While it does not handle tight turns at high speeds that well, I found it to be well-balanced without any oversteer, giving me confidence on occasional road excursions and daily commutes. The engine accelerates easily once it picks up speed. However, it felt sluggish, when I accelerated it from 0 to 100 kmh during a recent motorway merge. The low-end performance is fairly decent, although I could hear the engine become a little noisy, especially during an uphill climb.
