Best enjoyed on the open road
In town, it feels a bit harsh to drive the Toyota GR Yaris, and on the highway it’s noisy. Its real capabilities can be seen on the open road. However, I use it as a daily driver and have to make a few compromises. Its steering is pointy and it responds quickly to inputs offering enough feedback to give complete confidence. The sharp throttle response is something that I like a lot. The engine of this vehicle needs to be revved hard to keep the turbo firing forward. The brakes are strong and when needed it is effortless to slow down the car. It feels capable and solid, whether you're just enjoying the drive or pushing it hard.
