Designed to ride hard and far
I have covered more than 2000 miles on my Yamaha Ténéré 700, and it has been an exceptional journey so far. This bare-bone middle-weight adventure bike is a pleasure to ride. I have spent dozens of hours on a mix of surfaces on this bike. From the dirt to tarmac, sand, and gravel, I have taken it on the most challenging surfaces and have always returned with a huge smile. The 8-inch suspension perfectly soaks up bumps and potholes, and the 21-inch front wheel offers excellent handling on rough roads. A few issues I have faced are that the rear swingarm feels stiff at times, and I miss cruise control on long highway stretches.
