2017 Scion FR-S/ Toyota GT 86 Facelift Spied
MANILA: While the auto world is busy eying the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Japanese auto bravo Toyota is using the empty roads to test the mid-cycle revamp of GT 86. The photos above confirm this spy news wherein the changes will also cover the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ.
The changes seen in this prototype over the current edition are new front bumper with much wider and lower air intake flanked by different fog lamps. The front headlights looked with LED unit incorporation while the same is seen in tail lamps also retaining their old shape. Other updates include re-profiled rear bumper and slightly larger wing. The interior updates are also expected to renew our interest and feel of driving this sports car.

Coming to the but-obvious question that whether the facelift will bring some additional horses under the hood or not. We can only say that there is no certainty yet. Rumors say that a 2.0-litre boxer unit pushing 200 to 211 PS can be seen here. The efficiency is said to be improved by seven percent and the handling will be upgraded with rear suspension sub-frame offering superior rigidity. The connection to the road will also be advanced with Sachs dampers.
