The seating capacity of top-spec Urban is 9 while the standard version will be able to accommodate either 11 or 12 people. Powering the 2018 Hyundai Grand Starex is a 2.5-litre CRDi turbo-diesel engine that is now Euro6 compliant and manages to deliver a maximum power output of 140 PS at 3600 rpm and peak torque of 353 Nm at 1500 - 2500 rpm. Just like the outgoing model, 4WD will be optional. Other features include a softer suspension, hill-start assist, locking differential for 4WD models and better sound insulation. The rest of the safety features are carried from the previous version. The launch date of 2018 Grand Starex in the local market is still not clear but we expect it to see here by the end of Q1 2018.
