MANILA: Yukontorn Wisadkosin (nicknamed Vickie) has been appointed as Hyundai Motor’s president for the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region.

Prior to her latest position with the Korean automotive marque, Wisadkosin was Ford’s president for ASEAN Markets and Asia Pacific Distributor Markets. There, she spearheaded the Blue Oval's expansion and delivered sustained growth across highly competitive markets in the region.
“Vickie’s regional expertise, leadership capability, and deep understanding of ASEAN markets make her exceptionally well-suited to lead Hyundai’s next phase of growth in the region,” Romano said.
“Her appointment also reflects our commitment to strengthening global female leadership within Hyundai.”
For her part, Wisadkosin expressed gratitude for the role that Hyundai entrusted her with.
