Toyota Motor PH identifies models to be seen in 10th PIMS

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has confirmed that the all-new Land Cruiser FJ, Hilux BEV, and the Land Cruiser 300 HEV will make their appearance at the upcoming 10th Philippine International Motor Show.

The three models will be displayed at the Japanese automaker’s dedicated booth inside World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City starting tomorrow until Sunday (June 7).

Here are some details about the soon-to-be-introduced offerings from Toyota.

To-be revealed models 

Land Cruiser FJ

The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ—which was seen at the Japan Mobility Show last year—highlights the nameplate’s adventure-centric nature and versatility comes in a more accessible and compact package.

Here is Zigwheels Philippines' quick look of the much-anticipated model: 

Per TMP, this model is powered by an internal combustion engine that maximizes its 4x4 nature. Other features made available in the vehicle are:

• Differential lock
• Auto limited slip differential
• Second start mode
• Panoramic View Monitor

All-new Hilux

Meanwhile, the all-new Toyota Hilux will make its Philippine debut in battery electric vehicle form. 

According to the leading local automotive distributor, the introduction of the model’s 4x4 BEV version “is a new step toward the future for the Hilux nameplate, and one that caters to customers who look to take charge toward an electrified future.”

Further, the “Cyber-Sumo" design language will be adopted by the model’s diesel trims—including the new 2.8-liter turbocharged powertrain—to reiterate the marque’s mission of constantly improving their cars to better cater to customer needs.

LC 300 HEV

Lastly, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV combines heritage with innovation. It boasts the model’s proven durability, power and performance, as well as its practical hybrid system mated to a 3.5-liter V6 engine. 

Additionally, the LC300 HEV is fitted with an electronic power steering, giving customers a much smoother driving experience. 

Moreover, it also wears an Aero body kit with Jet Black Garnish.

Pre-order period starts tomorrow

Relatedly, both the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ and all-new Toyota Hilux can be pre-ordered on their respective microsites starting tomorrow.

On the other hand, reservations for the LC300 HEV can be done directly through any authorized Toyota dealer nationwide.
