Toyota opens new service center in Palo, Leyte

MANILA: In its bid to expand the reach of its aftersales network, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is building a new service center in Palo, Leyte.

Being established in partnership with Toyota Tacloban, Leyte, the new facility—the brand’s first in the area—is in line with the marque’s commitment to worry-free ownership while enriching every stage of the customer journey.

In a statement, the leading automotive distributor in the country said that the soon-to-be-completed service center is designed to deliver quality and trustworthy automotive services.

Expected to be completed by the middle of next year, the upcoming Toyota Palo Service Center is designed to have a floor area spanning 6,000 square meters.

It will feature a modern showroom and offer various services, including express maintenance, periodic maintenance and general repairs with its 32 service bays. 

“For the past 13 years, Toyota Tacloban has been committed to the Toyota brand through providing quality products and services to our customers,” TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing Sherwin Chua-Lim said.

“And over time, have gained the trust of twenty-eight thousand customers to date, reflecting the confidence that the people of Leyte have placed in us,” he added.

For his part, Toyota Tacloban President Jimmy Yaokasin noted the importance of creating a new service center.

“This groundbreaking ceremony is not simply about constructing another service center. It is about preparing for the next generation. Anyone can build only for today’s needs, today’s demand, or today’s convenience,” he noted.

“As we look around our province today, we see rapid change everywhere. Technology is evolving, mobility is happening, and customer expectations continue to rise. The needs of our communities are growing, and this expansion is our response to that future,” he added.
