Radar PH to expand reach in Visayas via upcoming Cebu dealership

MANILA: Radar EV (electric vehicle) Pickup Philippines, a brand under the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI), is set to expand its footprint to the Visayas region with its upcoming dealership in Cebu.

The aforementioned was made possible through Radar EV Pickup Philippines’ newly established partnership with Pacific Autoworld Incorporated, an entity operating under the Borromeo Group of Companies. 

Notably, the Borromeo Group of Companies has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. As such, Radar’s local arm says that its new partner for Visayas is the ideal choice due to its familiarity with the Visayan market. 

On the other hand, Cebuanos, and by extension the denizens of other nearby Visayan regions, will get to access Radar’s lineup of pickup trucks that are touted for their good combination of rugged utility, all-electric performance, efficiency, advanced safety technologies, and more importantly, emissions-free propulsion. 

The said lineup includes the Radar RD6 EM-P plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and the RD6 Econ all-electric pickup truck. 

For now, however, Radar EV Pickup Philippines has not yet shared the official opening date for its new facility in Cebu. Then again, the Borromeo Group of Companies already has outlets for other UAAGI brands such as BAIC, Chery, and Jetour.

Latest UAAGI updates

This May 2026, UAAGI also opened its new Chery-BAIC joint dealership along Quezon Avenue. The aforementioned facility is owned and managed by Wheels Incorporated, and it sits on an 800-square-meter lot equipped with a spacious showroom and a two-bay service area. 

For those who want to visit this facility, do note that its exact address is 602 Quezon Avenue, corner Tuayan Street. It is open from Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. 

Also, last month, BAIC signed on the Paras family as its latest official endorsers. Highlighted in this milestone is the B30e Dune sport utility vehicle (SUV), which is touted as striking a good balance among comfort, reliability, and performance. 

Currently, the BAIC B30e Dune retails at P1.488 million for the 4x2 version, and up to P1.788 million for the top-of-the-line 4x4 trim. Both are hybrids with the higher-spec trim capable of outputting up to 403 horsepower and 685 Newton-meters of torque.

Notably, the model is a highly capable off-road with its generous ground clearance of 215 millimeters (mm), an approach angle of 24.5 degrees, and a departure angle of 30 degrees. It likewise has a wading capacity of up to 450 mm.
