Toyota delivers more than 11-M cars worldwide for 2025
Conglomerate also sold around 5-M electrified cars globally last year
MANILA: Toyota Motor Corporation has sold a total of 11,322,575 units worldwide for the entirety of 2025. The aforementioned figure, the company says, is equivalent to a 4.6 percent year-on-year increase compared to its 2024 global sales record of 10.821 million cars.

The region with the highest volume is Asia, with 3,285,605 units (Toyota and Lexus brands only) sold in 2025. This is followed by North America, with 2,929,660 units sold, and Europe, with 1,182,551 units sold.

Toyota Motor Corporation’s electrified vehicle sales also gained a 10.2 percent year-on-year increase in 2025. That’s 4,994,894 hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and battery electric vehicles (BEV) sold worldwide.
In January 2026 alone, Toyota Motor Corporation delivered 822,577 units to customers. Per the company, 699,512 units were sold internationally outside its domestic market, while 123,065 units were sold in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Toyota Motor PH: 2025 sales performance
In the context of the Philippine market, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has retailed 229,447 units for the entire 12 months of 2025. The aforementioned figure, which was reported by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), places Toyota’s local arm as the top brand in the Philippines.
To note, the entire member roster of CAMPI-TMA has sold 491,395 units for the full 12 months of 2025. This means that around 47 percent of all cars sold in the local market last year were Toyota models.
Photo from Toyota Motor PhilippinesAs TMP shared during a press conference, its top-selling models were the Vios, Avanza, and Hilux, in that order. Lexus Philippines’ 2025 sales charts, on the other hand, were led by the NXh, followed by the RXh, and the LMh.
Additionally, TMP is looking at a very busy 2026 with several models already lined up in its pipeline. As reported previously, the company is set to introduce the following models throughout the year:
