2018 Nissan Urvan Premium with Automatic Transmission launched

MANILA: After announcing the 2018 Urvan Premium with automatic transmission a few days back, Nissan Philippines Inc has finally launched the much-awaited van in the country.  Just like the manual variant, the automatic transmission also features the high-roof version.

The front features  V-Motion grille, prominent headlights, color-keyed front and rear bumpers/door handles and restyled fog lights with bezels.  The overall dimensions of the van read 5320 mm X 1880 mm X 2285 mm (L X W X H) with a wheelbase of 2940 mm. The Urvan Premium also comes with a close assist feature that makes operating the sliding door easy for the occupants.

In the cabin, there is space for fifteen, each being offered with an individual seat that comes with recline function. Nissan has paid special attention to details and designed the interior ergonomically, there are individual cup holders, bottle holders as well as aircon vents for all the occupants. For improved cargo space, the rearmost bench comes in a collapsible form that makes enough room for your gear and luggage.

Towing this big van is a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel inline-four engine that comes with variable geometry turbo. This unit is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 129 PS and a peak torque of 356 Nm, which is similar to the manual variant. The engine is further mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and one can expect a fuel economy ranging between 7-8 kmpl.

Nissan Philippines Inc has priced the 2018 Urvan Premium A/T strategically and it holds a sticker price of Php 1,740,000. The van is available for booking and deliveries.
