2019 Lexus ES launched in the Philippines at Php 4,308,000

MANILA: The Lexus ES proudly flaunts the brand’s prowess in the luxury E-segment and dons a very loveable and sleek design. After being on sale in many countries around the world, the ES sedan has finally entered the Philippines market.

The Lexus ES, that has just made its local debut, portrays a bolder and bigger design over what we are accustomed to seeing internationally. The 2019 model is built on the latest updated L-Finesse design philosophy. It has a lot of the aesthetic cues taken from the LS flagship. The spindle front grille is wider and bolder than before and becomes the centre of focus in the front profile though we have slimmer and edgier headlamps, along with L-shaped DRLs trying to steal the limelight.

On the inside, the 2019 Lexus ES has a floating touchscreen infotainment system up on the dashboard. Moreover, the dashboard looks like a two-layer unit with the display on the top and a lot of button bits and controls on the lower. Almost everything inside the cabin is covered with a leather coating. One of the major changes includes the replacement of the touchscreen-controlling mouse with a trackpad.

All the seats in the new ES are electronically adjustable. In fact, the front seats even have a memory function, seat ventilation and 4-way lumbar support. The rear seats have the reclining function. There is a control centre for the rear occupants as well, which offers independent control over the climate control system, seats, music system and the sunshade.

Speaking about the music system, there are 17 speakers in a system sourced from Mark Levinson and has its connectivity with USB, DVD, Bluetooth, Aux and smartphone link on the infotainment.

 

The 2019 Lexus ES 350 is powered by a big 3.5-litre V6 naturally-aspirated engine which can thump out a maximum power of 300 PS along with a good torque of 357 Nm. The produced power is channelised to the front wheels through an 8-speed gearbox (automatic).

As of now, the new Lexus ES has a price tag of PHP4,308,000 in the Philippines market.
