2nd leg of thrilling 2022 Toyota GR Vios Cup to commence Aug. 20

MANILA: Following the thrill and excitement of its first leg last July, the 2022 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup is preparing for even bigger thrills in its second leg, which takes place on August 20 at the Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga.

      

This weekend at CIS, Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) premier motorsports program will step up the pace. Alain Alzona, Troy Montero, and John Dizon of Circuit Championship, who finished the first leg of the 2022 TGR Vios Cup with thrilling victories and thrilling races, will return to the track to attempt to recapture their podium positions.

Meanwhile, influencers Gino Quillamor, Arron Villaflor, Jules Aquino, Lexi Mendiola, Enzo Pineda, and Dexi Diaz for Sporting Class; Ashley Gosiengfiao, Bianca Yao, Carla Lizardo, Patch Magtanong, Benedict Cua and Miggy Romulo for Promotional Class will also be back at CIS — together with members of media — to continue the exciting competition of the TGR Vios Cup Autocross Challenge.

The Toyota GR Gran Turismo Cup winners will also take their virtual racing skills to the tracks as they join the excitement of the Autocross Challenge as well.

To fuel more excitement for the adrenaline-filled weekend, the 2022 Toyota GR86 will roar into the race track and entice the racing audience.

The Autocross and Circuit Challenge of the 2022 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup Leg 2 will commence at 9:30 a.m. at CIS. Admission is free and spectators need to present their vaccination cards upon entry.

At the same time, the 2022 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup will stream live on the Toyota Motor Philippines and Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines official Facebook pages.

The 2022 TGR Vios Cup is organized in cooperation with Bridgestone and Petron and is supported by Brembo, Denso, OMP, Tuason Racing, AVT, 3M, ROTA, myTOYOTA Wallet, and Kinto One.
