Aguila Glass San Fernando celebrates 16 years of service

MANILA: Filipinos are well aware of the name Aguila Glass when they think about replacing their vehicle’s windshields. Rendering services since 1952, the company has grown well in the island. The thing in the news for today is that the newly-upgraded San Fernando unit of Aguila Glass is celebrating its 16th anniversary with a promise to deliver quality and hassle-free service to the locals.

The Aguila Glass San Fernando is located at the centre of the Pampanga province. Since its set up in 2003, the branch has maintained a healthy reputation with its services of replacing windshields and other glass-related products and equipment. If you can recall, the glass service company had partnered with the local government of Isabela to rehabilitate the schools by providing quality glass panes to replace the windows broken by last year’s Typhoon Ompong.

With this nice gesture, the company has built a sterling reputation across the country. No wonder, that apart from the presence of the company’s representatives, a number of officials from the city of San Fernando and the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) also attended the 16th-anniversary celebration event.

Customer service specialist; Frederico Borromeo said, “It's been a great 15 years and we look forward to many more years in San Fernando. Thank you from those at DTI and the Mayor's Office who came to join us, as well as to the other guests.”

During the celebration, Aguila Auto Glass also revealed the plan to expand its Gawad Kalinga program to Pampanga. Borromeo also said, “Our family has been in the auto glass business in the last 67 years and we're looking forward to many more. As a form of giving back, we have been tirelessly working with Gawad Kalinga in many of the cities and provinces where our stores are. Hopefully, we'll be starting work with San Fernando on their Gawad Kalinga projects as well.”

The company was started back in 1952 by Lauro Aguila and his wife Maria Gutierrez. It has well affirmed its foot in many parts of the country. Besides replacement glass, the company also has a wide range of products in its portfolio.
