Araneta City resumes operations of Batangas, Laguna buses

MANILA: Buses going to Laguna and Batangas are now permitted to operate at the Araneta City Bus Station.

According to LTFRB Memorandum Circular No. 2022-023, Araneta City and bus operators have received a valid Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC), Provisional Authority (PA), and Special Permits to authorize the resumption of the following bus operations at the Araneta City Bus Station:

Alps and GoldStar Transport

5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• San Juan, Batangas (P310)
• Batangas City (P230)
• Lipa City, Batangas (P176)

HM Transport

7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Calamba, Laguna (P117)
• Pansol, Laguna (P128)
• Los Banos Bayan (P139)
• Sta. Cruz, Laguna (P198)

As the new bus lines accommodate more passengers during Lenten season, Araneta City Bus Station Property Manger Mon Legazpi guarantees the public of safety.

All buses are embedded with a QR code for passenger contact tracing, as required by the LTFRB. During drop-off intervals, each bus is sanitized and disinfected, and bus drivers and staff are tested for COVID-19 on a regular basis. Face masks must be worn at all times by passengers.

“The public are also encouraged to strictly follow existing health precautions and social distancing measures. Passengers may be asked to present a vaccination ID or any proof of vaccination,” Legazpi stated.

Aside from these new bus routes, Araneta City Bus Station offers trips to and from Pampanga and Bulacan. Senior citizens, students, and people with disabilities are all given discounts.
