BMW i5 : What body style to be expected?

MANILA: World famous luxury brand, BMW has its own status in the auto industry and with its recent BMW i technology, the brand has made a groundbreaking success in the concept of sustainable mobility. Following the electric range of i3 and i8, the BMW i5 is the new happening from the big German brand. Going to be unveiled next year on the BMW's 100th anniversary, the i5 concept is in a phase of determining it's body style right now.

As heard from the sources, the brand is considering two options, either an elongated i3 which would look like an MPV or a sedan structure that can easily compete the Tesla Model 3. Ian Robertson, the board member for marketing and sales at BMW told that they are in the concluding phase of their upcoming car, the i5. The car will surely reflect the 100 years of precision of BMW but will mainly target the future needs.

Moreover, whether this BMW i5 will be a full-electric wheels like an i3 or will be a plug-in hybrid like an i8, still remains in shadow. The news has also flown that BMW i5 can be a hydrogen car also as the car maker is actively participating with Toyota in the fuel-cell technology. The car is expected to make its debut by 2019, whereby then it would surely face a huge demand, not for its style or brand fame, but for its green approach.
