BMW to debut all-new iX3 at IAA Mobility 2025

MANILA: BMW will present the all-new iX3 at the upcoming “Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung” (IAA) Mobility 2025 show on September 9-14, 2025, in Munich, Germany.

The model is the brand’s first-ever example of its Neue Klasse (New Class) vehicle lineup. 

For the unaware, the all-new iX3 to be presented at the upcoming German auto show is the next-generation version of the BMW iX3 (G08), which has been around since 2018. No specifications for the upcoming all-electric ride were disclosed by the brand, but as BMW has shared in previous reports, it will use the new Neue Klasse electric vehicle (EV) platform, which is independent from the internal combustion BMW X3 G45.

In the Philippine market, the previous generation (G08-based) BMW iX3 is still available as the M Sport trim with a price set at P4.99 million. 

Under the hood of the Philippine-spec iX3 is a single motor setup capable of producing up to 286 horsepower (hp) and 400 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. It also has a range of 480 kilometers, according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).

Mini at IAA Mobility 2025

Besides the all-new iX3, BMW-owned Mini will likewise showcase two exclusive John Cooper Works showcars at the IAA Mobility 2025. 

No details about the cars were disclosed just yet, but the brand hinted that they are likely going to be motorsport-themed. Mini, after all, saw success at the recent 24 Hours of Nürburgring, specifically, a second-place finish in the SP3T class.
