BPI enjoys 37% growth in loan releases
Auto loans portfolio grows 27%; moto by 19%

MANILA: The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) experienced a 37% growth in retail loan releases in 2024.

Meanwhile, its Housing Loans displayed the highest growth with releases up by 45 percent, nearly doubling the industry’s growth rate of 8.1 percent.

“BPI is continuously striving to make the loan application process as straightforward as possible and make it more accessible and convenient for our customers,” he added.
The company noted that its more than 800-strong branch network, user-friendly digital platform, and collaborations with dealers, distributors, brokers, developers and online marketplaces have also made it easier for customers to apply for loans.
It also has the BPI Loans Marketplace that streamlines loan-buying processes.
Further, the BPI Retail Loans Group also offers comprehensive life and non-life insurance bundles.

BPI honors partners at 6th Padayon Awards
Recently BPI recognized its outstanding retail loans partners at the 6th Padayon Awards. Organized by the Retail Loans Group, the annual event recognized the role of these collaborators in helping Filipinos achieve their dreams.
This year, the awards expanded to include partners from the motorcycle industry and highlighted the bank’s sustainability-focused products: MyBahay (the first 30-year term affordable housing program offered by a commercial bank); MyKotse (which extends car loan terms up to six-seven years); and Green Solutions (which provides financing for electric and hybrid vehicles).
