Chery rolls out Tiggo care packages
MANILA: With its return to the Philippine market last November, Chery, now under the aegis of the United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), releases a range of Tiggo crossovers in five- and seven-seater configurations: Tiggo 2, Tiggo 5x, Tiggo 7, and Tiggo 8.
To provide support and confidence to its customers, Chery Auto Philippines rolls out its Chery Customer Care program. In a release, its president Rommel Sytin said, “All vehicles need consistent care if they are to run powerfully. Maintenance also reduces the risk of roadside breakdowns and costly repairs. My team, through the expertise of our dealerships, is ready to assist you with all procedures to get your vehicle on tip-top shape."
Chery Customer Care features both warranty assurance and parts services. Chery vehicles carry a five-year general warranty or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The company will repair the vehicle in case it fails “during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or workmanship.”
Meawhile, Tiggo engines are guaranteed by a 10-year/1,000,000-kilometer warranty — on top of free ownership experience for the first three years. Preventive maintenance services — inclusive of oil, air and fuel filters brake fluid, and transmission oil replacement – and a complete checkup of the car’s engine, suspension, transmission, etc., will be for free. A computerized scanner ascertains the condition of the vehicle.
Chery vehicles also need to be serviced twice a year or after every 10,000 kilometers. Additionally, the Chery Parts Guarantee assures the availability of spare parts, particularly PMS parts, fast-moving items, and collision panels. Chery only offers genuine OEM parts.
Added Sytin, “These aftersales programs are set to improve not only the performance and efficiency of our product line, but also the relationship that we have with our end users.
