Chery Tiggo Grand Tour

The Chery Tiggo Grand Tour features a minimalist cabin that looks and feels very premium for its price point. Upfront, the driver is given a 7-inch digital instrument display and a multicontrol leather steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment functions. Meanwhile, all passengers can enjoy a 10.25-inch HD infotainment display that is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The first row is a pleasant spot to be in, while the second row can effectively accommodate three adult passengers. Its third row is a bit cramped-up for taller and larger individuals. But, on the plus side, this MPV comes with a very generous trunk space at the back.

At first glance, you wouldn’t expect that the Tiggo Grand Tour is an MPV because of how its frame looks from the outside. Some people, including myself, think it looks more like an SUV. Design-wise, it carries an SUV-type of swag and aura whenever it passes by. It features a rugged-looking front end illuminated by angular LED projector headlights. An infinity mesh grille adds more detail to its facade, giving it a nice elegant flare on the road.

Its side profile looks classy and rugged at the same time. A blend of sleek lines and muscular curves define its silhouette. Unlike its facade, its back end looks more subtle and reserved. It comes with a distinct-looking pair of LED taillights and a power tailgate. Additionally, for added sportiness, it also gets faux exhaust pipes at the bottom.

In terms of suspension, the Chery Tiggo Grand Tour utilizes a combination of a MacPherson Strut at the front and a Torsion Beam at the rear. For an MPV, it surprisingly handles turns or corners exceptionally well. It remains very stable and composed even at high speeds. Meanwhile, in the city, it is nimble to maneuver even through traffic and narrow spaces. Ultimately, the Tiggo Grand Tour offers a pliant and comfortable ride for everyone on board.

The Chery Tiggo Grand Tour is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine that delivers 146 hp and 210 Nm of torque. This SUV comes mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission system.

The Chery Tiggo grand Tour comes with four SRS airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree reverse camera. In terms of braking, this MPV utilizes front ventilated discs and rear drums.
