MANILA: Even as Filipinos go into the festive holiday mood, the fourth week of December 2025 still saw significant movements in the local automotive industry.

While the industry has not seen a car launch in the fourth week of December, several noteworthy updates have emerged from a number of car brands, as well as transport-related government and private entities.

The said fuel economy run, which was done together with Petron, netted the Dzire hybrid with a reading of 36.10 kilometers per liter (km/l). The Suzuki Fronx, meanwhile, returned a reading of 24.69 km/l.
At the same time, the Honda Civic and HR-V also showed off their fuel economy at the DOE-Petron Eco run, with 30.12 km/l and 28.08 km/l, respectively.
Also in the fourth week of December 2025, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially handed over Tamaraw units to the City of Santa Rosa.
